When using 3D laser scanning technologies, first responders at different calamities are the most benefited personnel. The time humans are exposed to dangers is reduced to a minimum as assessing damaged areas that are potentially hazardous (e.g. after an explosion, a fire or even an earthquake) can be done without direct physical access.
